#SaveReaper Sundays « Thread Started on Jun 18, 2009, 5:04pm »
THIS SUNDAY the CW will start showing Reaper Season Two on Sundays, 7 pm. (I'm not sure what it is Central Time, can someone let us know?) We hope that maybe they are testing the market for Sunday syndication, though it seems clear that someone has not been following up on that particular deal (*cough*ABC*cough*).
ANYWAY, we're going to:
--Tell fans to watch in your timezone. International fans can watch (if they have the episode on hand) at any time during the 4-hour period.
--Set up a chat at tinychat.com (link below) and chat online about the episode as it plays in each timezone. TheMBC and I, and we hope others, can be there for a chunk of the time, nudging the chat along.
First shift: 7 pm Eastern (and maybe 6 pm Central?) all the way through Last showing: 7-8 pm Pacific.
--Tiny chat is set up so Twitters can 1) Post that they are joining the chat, with a link to the chat. 2) Choose to post their chat comments to their Twitter. Even if you don't want to do that, we are asking that people Tweet comments as well as chatting, using the #SaveReaper.
--Even if you're not on Twitter, you can join the chat.
Here is the link: http://tinychat.com/savereaper which we'll post again here and at Twitter when the time comes. If you're not going thru a Twitter account, just type in any nickname you want to use, and you're in!
There's still time to improve this campaign, so feel free to comment here! Let's watch, everybody!

So I think our first #SaveReaper Sunday re-watch was a great success! We had probably 14 people in and out overall, even accounting for the fact that I was logged in as both ccatko and reaperdmv. Which was good since there was one spell when I was chatting with myself.
Anyway, we recruited a few new people (hi, Mike90210!) and had a chance to talk more with ongoing friends like bwearbiz and rikerdonegal. Thanks to aktarian, deathrabbit, and onyourmark for helping with the continuity, and TheMBC for the promoting support even though he had to paint instead of chat.
And everyone else who joined in. And who plan to join next week!

Wow so they show reruns of Privlaged, and decide to give a slap in the face to Reaper fans by putting the V show on and not Reaper. CW just pulled a Nick Sabon. You are familar with Nick Sabon the whole I'm not taking the Alabama Job when coach of the Dolphins however futile words because he did take the job.
I'm back from my Hawaiian vacation! However, in the CW Bay Area, Reaper is airing Sunday Nights @ 7pm. No Valentine... Thank you Devil!
My Yahoo homepage lied... just got back home from work and turned the DVR, looks like it's gonna be V tonight.
What's going on?
CK... as for my trip... it was awesome, even though it was partly cloudy, drizzling every now and then. But, it was welcoming... the humidity, oh my! The main reason for the trip was attend my cousin's wedding (groomsmen), and being in tux w/vest, was not enjoyable at all in a warm, humid, Chapel...but atleast the reception was in a fancy, a/c ballroom! I also got to visit my relatives... good times.

So it looks like Valentine replaced Reaper in all the markets; like Jeff is saying, in the Bay Area it said "Reaper" up until earlier today. We'll get the ratings for how that show fared (well, anyone can! please do and post them here) and start another writing campaign to The CW to get Reaper back!

My cable guide stated that Valentine would be on at seven. My local paper stated that Reaper would be on. This happened when the Home Stretch was being aired some people didn't there was going to be a new episode.

My guide said that Valentine was going to be on too, but I just figured it was an other false listing and turned it on, then freaked out that Valentine was actually on instead of Reaper, then looked at yahoo, who said was Reaper was supposed on. It must have been a snap decision at the CW.

Ouch, I'd love to shove that in Ostroff's face. She hates Reaper so much I must have to think that she has some moral beef against a show with the devil in it or something.

I was so elated when we were, so called, PRIVILEDGED" that the CW decided to string us along and bring back reruns. If GPS monitors cellphones and we have them in cars, and let us not forget BIG BROTHER WATCHING (SATELLITES, ETC.) why "DON'T THE POWERS THAT BE" monitor the airwaves of viewers tuning in? Too much to chip TVS, so why not have even cable network monitor (modern world correct???). What chance did REAPER have when the following week Valentine reruns replaced the much SUPERIOR REAPER SERIES? I rewatched the Season opener of Season #2. What a scream and I when you rewatch a program (especially this enjoyable) you see things with a new prospective. Also, most times, 1st time around, I miss somethings due to getting a drink of seltzer (sorry guys I did toast the show though!!), and other interruptions. So we Petitioned, emailed, purchased DVD's and MOST IMPORTANTLY, we believe in our hearts, and because 'WE THE PEOPLE/VIEWERS", KNOW great programming. REAPER MUST/and should come back full fold. Sorry for the frustration and drama. We are all persistant, a network of friends, fierce and loyal. My thanks to Blue, CKO and ALL OF YOU WHO LOVE AND ARE TAKING OUT SO MUCH TIME AND PUTTING ALL THIS ENERGY INTO WHAT WE PASSIONATELY AGREE UPON. You my friends are loyal. That is so important in our society today. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS AND WE WILL WIN. Thank you again everyone. I am proud to be a member of this site.
